  1. I have not been to recital as such in a long while but what particularly blew me away was the clarinet duet. I also enjoyed the first violin piece. It was an entertaining night

  2. I am really glad I went to this recital! I had no idea how much talent our music professors have! My favorites were the clarinet duet (Dr. LaFave & Dr. Miller) and Dr. Manhart's trumpet solo.

  3. I don't think I've ever been to a music recital Before, but I really enjoyed it, the teachers were very talented! I specially enjoyed the clarinet duet, I found it entertaining when they were "battling" against each other.

  4. The recital was very entertaining. From the opera arrangements, to the jazzy duet of Ron Parker and Grant Manhart. Every performance was fabulous. I particularly fell in love with Darci Bultima's voice that blew me away; I really did not expect that voice to come out of such a bubbly person like Darci. I had a nice conversation with Ron Parker after the concert, and I have really grown to love our music department in such a short time here at NSU.

  6. Dr. Miller did an amazing job last night! Wow. I don't even have words. She was so into it with Dr. LaFave it was incredible. You could see by there actions and facial expressions they are passionate about playing the clarinet. This was the first true recital I have been to and I can honestly say it won't be my last. It was entertaining and gave me a chance to listen to music I don't normally listen to. No matter what recital I go to next, they are going to have to work extra hard to top last night's clarinet duet!

  7. My sister and I loved this concert. Dr. Faflak's performance was my favorite, closely followed by the clarinet duet. I also really enjoy Dr. Woods' piece and Dr. Beckler's marimba solo. The entire music faculty is amazing!

  9. I really enjoyed the jazz duet with Ron Parker and Grant Manhart. Ron plays piano at my church every Wednesday night and it was great to see his amazing talent be shown outside of the church and into the school performance. The whole recital was outstanding, some great talent comes out of the professors here at NSU.
